What do you want to accomplish with your live performance?
We have two goals. We see ourselves as trying to give the audience a night of entertainment with elements of music, fellowship, and joy, all filled with the Spirit of God. In this atmosphere we give the Gospel of Jesus Christ and follow the leading of the Spirit of God, whether it is leading some to salvation or some other ministry. For the Christians, we hope to be like the old Bob Hope USO tours that would go to the military bases and entertain the troops. Christians are soldiers in the greatest battle of all, whether they know it or not. Christians also have an adversary who is constantly trying to beat them down and depress them. Our goal is to revive the soldiers of the Cross and hopefully strengthen them so they can resume the battle with new vigor. Most of all we want to glorify OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!

Are you a worship band or a performance band?
We are both a worship band and a concert band. The goal of the band is to be able to serve in either capacity depending on the venue we are playing in. If we are playing in a church on Sunday morning we will lead in worship. If we are playing at a secular fair or some event like that we will do a concert with a lot of covers etc. We will always play Christ-centered music with lyrics that line up with God’s Word. We have to change the lyrics to some secular songs to line them up with the Bible, but the music stays the same. This approach has allowed us to give the Gospel in many places that would not allow a straight worship band to perform. The most common setting is where we mix the concert material and the worship music together. We will do this when we are playing a Christian outreach such as a church sponsored event. We will play mainly our concert material for the first half and move into a worship set as the night progresses.

What kind of music do you like?
The band members all have varied tastes, but in general we all like rootsy, blues and funky music. We are way more into Sly and the Family Stone than any of the new bands out now. For example, in our live set we cover songs by Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Wild Cherry, Lenny Kravitz and Jackie Wilson to name a few. We have to tweek the lyrics to get them to line up with scripture but the songs are great and even better when they testify to the Glory of God.
